The Austrian RecycleMe GmbH, the international consulting company for sustainable packaging management, is getting reinforcements in sales: Alexander Fetz is taking over the management of the sales department with immediate effect and is also responsible for sales at the sister company Reclay Systems, the second largest packaging take-back system.

Alexander Fetz has been leading the Austrian sales team at RecycleMe GmbH since February 2023 and is also responsible for sales at the sister company Reclay Systems. In this role, he is responsible for designing the Austrian market and sales strategy, identifying customer needs, acquiring new customers and leading and directing the sales team in close cooperation with international colleagues. The fact that Fetz switched to RecycleMe in August 2022 sometimes had personally motivated reasons. He was looking for an opportunity to realise himself professionally every day by actively shaping a sustainable circular economy.

“Today more than ever, sales must be guided by the values of its customers. It is important to offer individualised and scalable solutions. There is no need for standard services anymore,” says Alexander Fetz, explaining his new role in the company.  “In order to be able to offer our customers the right service with the greatest possible benefit, we must first understand the environment in which our customers operate, the challenges they face and the obligations they must fulfil.” Fetz sees the cooperation with the companies as partnerships on an equal footing: “We are in a time when natural resources are very scarce and need to be protected. That affects consumers as well as companies. That’s why we work closely with our customers and support them in assuming their responsibility for a modern circular economy. Together we make an important contribution to a future worth living in.”

Alexander Fetz studied business psychology and business administration at the Ferdinand Porsche Fern FH and complements his education with the “Miller Heiman Certificate of Sales Excellence” in “Strategic and Conceptual Selling”. Born in Leoben in 1980, the father of two has more than 20 years of experience in the sale of a wide variety of services, capital, and consumer goods. He has a wide range of different professional experiences in marketing and sales. Most recently, Fetz worked as a sales and marketing manager for a provider of sensor-based sorting and analysis systems as well as data processing solutions for international mechanical and plant engineering.

“In Alexander Fetz we have gained an employee who, in addition to his professional qualifications, is particularly distinguished by his communicative and team player attitude. This is appreciated not only by his customers, but also by his colleagues. We are convinced that by merging all sales activities in Austria, we will be able to respond even more to the needs of companies and to jointly promote the circular economy,” say Eva Müller-Axmann, Managing Director of RecycleMe GmbH and Marisa Pia Scholz, Managing Director of Reclay Systems GmbH.
