Welcome Jason Bergquist to RecycleMe USA
In addition, RecycleMe has appointed Jason Bergquist as Vice President (VP) to lead its operations in the USA.
‘I am delighted to join the RecycleMe team and honoured to be trusted with working with the players in the US market. There is a lot to be done and I look forward to contributing to the expansion of the circular economy in the US,’ says Jason.
Jason brings over 35 years of experience in the waste and recycling industry. He has managed, among other things, commercial and municipal waste departments, single-stream recycling and materials recovery facilities, and bottle waste collection and sorting operations in Maine, New York, and California. In addition, Jason has extensive international experience, having worked in the manufacturing industry in both Europe and Asia.
He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from John F. Kennedy University of Law and has consulted in the areas of Superfund compliance, beverage container deposit law, and hazardous waste management. Jason and his wife live in Maine and are proud to have raised three children together.
