Austria, France and Germany – international recyclability assessment
Your packaging can be recycled differently in different countries. This is due to national circumstances such as the collection infrastructure or the state-of-the-art sorting facilities. To enable you to assess your packaging in different countries, our tool currently offers three assessment methods for Austria, France and Germany.
Your questions about digital recyclability assessment
Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about our digital packaging assessment tool.
To assess recyclability, all components of a packaging unit are considered to the minimum standard. The packaging can be made of different materials. Ready-made templates provide you with market-typical packaging units, which you can interactively customise by entering the dimensions, colour and weight of the individual components.
Our tool classifies recyclability according to the minimum standard of the Central Packaging Register. The assessment is based on the collection, sortability and separability of packaging and its compatibility in the recycling process. If there is a change in the legally required evaluation criteria (e.g. the minimum standard of the Central Packaging Register), it is not necessary to re-enter the data, as the packaging already entered is automatically re-evaluated.
